Agreeing to these terms

FuturePaths is operated by Montgomery Software, Inc.. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 16 or older. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

FuturePaths lets you explore career paths through job stories, videos and blog posts, and lets you contribute your own content and suggest edits. We may change, limit or stop features at any time.

Accounts

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can sign in with an email and password, an emailed sign-in link, or Google. If you sign in with Google using an email address that already has a FuturePaths account, the two are linked. Tell us at futurepaths@montgomerysoftware.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Montgomery Software, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, convert, display, adapt for display, caption and recommend your content as part of the service, including content you submit as edit suggestions. You confirm that you have the rights to post it.

Do not post or do anything that:

• is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful or deceptive;
• infringes someone else's rights or shares private information about others;
• contains malware or tries to damage, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• is spam, or tries to manipulate ratings, reputation or recommendations;
• involves scraping or copying the service in bulk without permission.

You can report content from the page where you see it.

Moderation and suspension

We and community reviewers may review reports and suggestions. We may remove content, freeze content, limit editing privileges, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put people or the service at risk.

Our rights

The service, its software, design and name belong to Montgomery Software, Inc. or its licensors, except for content posted by users. Do not copy or reuse them except as these terms allow. To report a copyright problem, write to futurepaths@montgomerysoftware.com.

Not professional advice

Career information on FuturePaths is general and is contributed by the community. It is not professional, legal or financial advice, and we do not promise any job or outcome. The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Montgomery Software, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Some places do not allow some limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as the license to content already shared with others and the limits of liability, continue after your account ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA.
